I’m a working mum with four young kids (aged between six and two). I used to love trying new recipes but these days I don’t have much spare time and I’ve got stuck in a rut, cooking the same boring meals every week.
I also want to get my children involved in making food. As well as being something fun we can do together I’m hoping it will make them more adventurous (and maybe healthier?!) with the food they eat.
My kids have never been into foods cut into funny shapes or made to look like faces. I’m going to try getting them involved in making proper meals (and puddings) that all the family can eat.
In this blog I’m going to share my ideas to get kids into the kitchen and recipes for quick, healthy meals that I can cook while my little people are causing chaos around the house.
I don’t eat meat but I do cook it for the rest of the family. Where recipes are for meat dishes I’ll try to show how it can be adapted for vegetarians.
